COMMON TYPES OF WALL COVERINGS

PAPER BACKED VINYL
Wallcoverings that have a paper substrate on which the decorative surface has been sprayed or coated with an acrylic type vinyl or polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

These wallpapers are classified as scrubbable and strippable, and are suitable in most any area. These papers are better resistant to grease and moisture than plain paper, and are good for bathrooms and kitchens.

FABRIC BACKED VINYL
Fabric backed vinyl wallcovering is a high quality, strong, and enduring material. Constructed with a sturdy fabric and vinyl design, these highly resistant wallpapers stand up to the test of time. They are washable and more resistant to damage than non-woven substrates. This type of wallpaper is ideal for consumers looking for a great degree of washability, scrubbability and durability.

NON-WOVEN TEXTILE
Wallcoverings that are made of both natural and synthetic fibers. This means that the wallpaper is now both washable and breathable. The same material used for the wall covering is used in other common items, such as coffee filters, tea bags, and gauze.

Since it breathes there is no vapor lock that can create mildew and mold, like the older wallpapers do. This type of wallpaper is great for bathrooms and kitchens.

Non woven wallpaper coverings are the most user friendly wallpaper on the market today. Whether your a D-I-Y or a professional they are extremely easy to use and require very little effort to install.
